Paris, France – September 15, 2021 –

Trescal, the global leader in calibration services, announced the acquisition of four companies on three continents since January 2021. The acquisitions Celemetrix and Mobile Test’n Cal in Australia, SICT in South Korea and Thailand, and Qualcer in Portugal bring an additional 30 M€ of combined sales and 250 talented employees to the Trescal group.

They reinforce Trescal’s position in Australia and South Korea, while marking Trescal’s entry into Portugal and Thailand. In addition to geographic expansion, the acquisitions will enhance Trescal’s technical expertise, notably through the addition of antenna calibration capability, critical for the telecommunication, aeronautic and defense industries.

With these acquisitions, Trescal is forecasting pro forma sales of 370 M€ for 2021.

Trescal has now undertaken 29 acquisitions since OMERS, one of Canada’s largest defined benefit pension plans, invested in 2018.

Guillaume Caroit, CEO of Trescal: “After the remarkable resilience shown by the group in 2020, these acquisitions reflect our strategy to build an even more balanced group across multiple geographies. Our focus on expanding in Asia Pacific should allow us to achieve sales of 150 M€ in the region by 2023.”
